The WatsonWebb Design Process
Phase 1 : Design Direction/Aketches
Communicating with owners about what direction they want to go with, creating sketches based on those ideas, incorporating topography/environment and our unique sense of style. 3d images are created. Elevations and floor plans are developed and agreed upon.
Phase 2 : Design Refinement
Nailing down exact locations of windows, walls etc, drawings may be provided such as: Building Sections; Interior Elevations; and details and finish selections. Creating final construction documents for permits and bidding. Coordination with engineer.
Phase 3: contract and assigning of duties with general contractor
Plans are submitted to the General Contractor for pricing, construction and to obtain a Building Permit.. We can continue to assist you with this process or, depending on your relationship with your contractor, take this on yourself. The designer shall coordinate the General Contractor and Owner interviews, answer questions raised by the GCs and review and analyze bids received.
Final Phase:
Final phase: observations This Phase is to observe work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents.
